To the editor:

I would love to tell you more:
About me. About my life.
But I don’t think there is enough time left.
Would I even be able to put it into words?
To be honest, I’m not sure you would even read it.

I mean, I’m not sure if you could.
You read so much all day long.
I bet the words start blurring in front of you.

You can’t even remember.
Did it happen today?
Was it something that happened yesterday?
Last week? Month? Or even year?
When there is so much of a thing, is it still special?

That is not to say I don’t like your work.
It is art.
I adore your perfectionism - how you work hard to neatly arrange everything.
Just to finish it in time and repeat it all tomorrow.

This one-sided communication isn’t perfect, I know.
Can there even be US without YOU?.

How would you even respond though?.
Write a letter to me?
How would that even work?
