Medieval Tales Color Scheme

The following colors were selected as part of a software development project at university.
However, we ended up using a different color palette, so I decided to publish the colors here.

This color palette is licensed under the MIT license.

Goals

The goal of this color scheme is to encapsulate the old, sepia vibe of medieval fantasy paintings like these.

To do this, I selected a couple of pictures from my duckduckgo search results, opened them in Gimp and applied an oil painting filter. This was done to smooth the colors and make selecting them with the color picker easier.

Afterwards, I went through, selected fitting colors, and adjusted the hue, saturation, and value.
Some additional, complementary colors were then manually hand-crafted from the first batch of colors.
