True Fruits Bottle Cap

May 11, 2024

True fruits bottle with a blue 3D-printed lid screwed on top. The bottle is filled with a pink smoothie.

Description

Bottle cap for a 750ml true fruits smoothie bottle.

Great if you want to use an empty True Fruits glass bottle as your daily-driver drink bottle, but you want a cap that is a little bigger and easier to open.

The cap allows you to insert a rubber gasket for better isolation.
It also features a thread to be properly screwed on to the bottle.

Requirements

Assembly

The same blue 3D-printed cap from directly above, showing a black rubber gasket which has been placed around the inner core.

  1. Print the model on its top, that way it won’t need support
  2. Take the rubber gasket and stretch it over the middle part (consider asking a second person for help - especially when using a small gasket)
  3. Done. I’d recommend filling the bottle with some water and shaking it, or turning it upside down, to make sure it doesn’t leak. Mine worked first try, however you might have to adjust the model or the rubber gasket placement/size.
